The short version: Use Anchor & Flow for its intended purpose — managing your household. Don't abuse it. Pay for Anchor & Flow Plus if you use Plus features. You can cancel anytime. We're not liable for things outside our control.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Anchor & Flow (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Anchor & Flow LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Utah limited liability company.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using Anchor & Flow, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a household, you represent that you have the authority to bind that household to these Terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@anchorandflowapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not share your account with people outside your household, create accounts for others without their consent, or use the Service for commercial purposes beyond your own household management.
4. Subscription plans and billing
Anchor & Flow offers two tiers:

Household billing: A single Plus subscription covers your entire household. One person subscribes and pays; all other household members who join via your household code receive full Plus access at no additional charge. Only one active Plus subscription is needed per household.
Plus subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Plus subscription at any time from the billing portal. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months or partial years.
Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Plus subscription charge if you are not satisfied. Contact support@anchorandflowapp.com. After 7 days, charges are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use Anchor & Flow only for lawful household management purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service to store, transmit, or distribute illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
- Use the Service in any way that disrupts or damages it or the servers it runs on
- Resell or commercialize the Service without our written permission
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-export data from the Service
6. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you enter into Anchor & Flow — your tasks, notes, meal plans, vault data, and everything else. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not use your content to train AI models or for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. AI features (Compass)
Compass AI features generate suggestions and briefings based on your household data. AI-generated content is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI suggestions. You are responsible for all decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
AI feature availability may vary by subscription plan and may change over time.
8. Household sharing
The household sync feature allows multiple users to share a household account. By joining a shared household, you agree that other household members can view and edit shared data. You are responsible for who you invite to your household. Remove household members at any time through Settings.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Anchor & Flow available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.
10. Intellectual property
Anchor & Flow, including its design, branding, code, and AI features, is owned by Anchor & Flow LLC. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without written permission.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Anchor & Flow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that data will never be lost.
Back up important information. While we take data integrity seriously, you should not rely solely on Anchor & Flow for critical records.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchor & Flow LLC and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anchor & Flow LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@anchorandflowapp.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Colorado. You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in those courts.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@anchorandflowapp.com and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
